Frequently Asked Questions
-
Wellness integration is a collaborative, whole-person practice that helps clients align their values, goals, and daily choices. Rather than treating wellness as a checklist or a fixed destination, it recognizes wellness as an ongoing process of awareness, reflection, learning, and intentional action.
Wellness is multidimensional. It includes physical health and lifestyle habits, as well as emotional and spiritual well-being, supportive relationships, social connection, purpose, and a meaningful relationship with the natural world. It also involves recognizing how cultural expectations, systems, environments, and everyday demands can shape a person’s health choices and sense of possibility.
Integration is the process of making meaning from experience and using that insight to create sustainable change. It involves noticing patterns, identifying what matters most, and developing practices that support a more connected and coherent way of living. The aim is not perfection; it is greater congruence between what a person values and how they live each day.
At Wellness Integration, we work collaboratively with clients to explore what wellness means in the context of their own lives, identities, responsibilities, and aspirations. Together, we translate personal values into specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound goals that support meaningful behavior change. Through reflection, practical planning, and ongoing adjustment, clients build habits and systems that foster a more grounded, whole, and connected life.

Coaching supports practical, sustainable lifestyle change through active listening, thoughtful questions, and collaborative goal setting. It helps you identify patterns, clarify what motivates you, and create realistic goals that honor both body and spirit.
Together, you and your coach build everyday habits, manage stress, address obstacles, and strengthen motivation. Coaching also helps you focus on what is within your control so you can improve your overall quality of life.
Coaches are not therapists, counselors, or medical providers. However, they can work alongside your healthcare team to support your wellness goals.

Consistency is essential for building habits and creating lasting change. We work with clients in six-week coaching sessions centered on the goals and outcomes identified during an introductory call or first meeting.
Sessions are held in person weekly or every other week, depending on your needs and schedule. Between sessions, we establish supportive forms of communication—such as brief text messages or emails—to help you stay connected, accountable, and focused on your goals.
-
We love this question because, ultimately, we want your answer to be no. Our goal is to support your growth, strengthen your autonomy, and help you build the confidence to guide yourself.
A coach can help you clarify your goals, develop practical tools, and make sustainable changes in daily life. Over time, you learn how to integrate wellness in ways that work for you and become more able to support yourself through challenges and transitions.
The goal of coaching is not dependence; it is empowerment. You are the expert on your life. You are the medicine.

We primarily meet with clients in person, though we can arrange Zoom sessions occasionally when needed. In-person coaching allows us to build a more authentic, connected relationship away from the demands of daily screen time.
We offer office hours at Tyler Arboretum in Media, Pennsylvania, on Tuesdays and at Hazel and Oak in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, on Thursdays. We intentionally meet in settings that support connection, presence, healing, and well-being—for both clients and coaches.
